Heads up Taxidermy is based out of Gladewater, TX. Cody Burks (owner/taxidermist) is a graduate from the nations top taxidermy school, Central Texas School of Taxidermy, where I’ve learned the skills and attention to detail that possess quality work every time.
I’ve had the privilege of working in many different shops with a wide range of experienced taxidermist, most notably Rough Country taxidermy in Golden, CO and Ty’s taxidermy in Vidor, TX. The time spent over the years in different shops has given me the chance to learn many tricks of the trade and has pushed my limits to continue to perfect my craft.
As a hunter and outdoor enthusiast, I understand the importance of preserving your trophy in its most realistic state to capture that moment that you and your love ones will remember for a lifetime.
